I'm still pretty much jobless! But I'm currently free-lancing for Justin. That's if he has PA jobs for me. And on the other hand, I'm really focusing on baking well. I had a talk with Justin lately in regards to Good vs Great. And I've decided, I can be good at ALOT of things and still keep it that way, but I wanna be great at one thing. Being that baking is really close to my heart. I've decided to learn to be great at that. He is willing to give his full support and I'm really happy. Yesterday was his birthday, but we didn't get to celebrate on the day itself due to his work commitments and my case, a tea ceremony to attend to witness Russell Wong and Flora Zeta accepting Matilda as their God-Daughter. Everything went well! And was a good experience for me.

Right now, I'm actually fretting over Rubes's baby shower thingy! hehe! I offered to be in charge of desserts! And I'm really excited!!

I lost my train of thoughts. Just sent 4 resumes. Lol. I need moolah before I can fulfill my baking wish!

You know, despite being a full time job searcher at home, lol, I didn't seem to have the heart/time to blog! Totally neglected this blog! Nothing eventful in my life just worries, worries and more worries! Lost the mojo totally.

Anyhow, I just realised, it's October! Meaning to say, my blog has already reached its 6th year! Amazing. Looking back at past entries never fail to amuse me. How much I've grown.

In about a month time, I'll won't be staying in Westwood Cres anymore. We've sold this semidetached and 'upgraded' to a better location, albeit it's going to be ALOT smaller. Definitely going to miss having my own bathroom and space! BUT, I'm more than willing to sacrifice space for location! Our new place will be a 5room flat @ Strathmore Avenue. Eh, I would only need a MAXIMUM of 15 minutes to get to town/holland v!

Next time, friends who wants to meet at Holland Village. I would say: "Eh, give me a call when you guys leave your house so I can go bathe and prepare!" HAHAHAHA! Given the same scenario today, they're probably still asleep when I'm up preparing to get out!!! LOL!

You know, sometimes, it's just amazing to know that you still do have friends around you that care! You know who you are. Thanks for standing by me and checking me out occasionally!

Recently, was introduced to JX's girlfriend! Sharmaine, she's really nice and outgoing! Lol. She looks 90% like Huang Xiao Rou (some Taiwan star). Introduced her to DS, and the next thing, she bought the latest DSiWare! $#%**&$#%!*(*$^@#$

OH! Rubes told me that Mike has some free room in Batam and invited the girls along for a 'reunion'! I said yes immediately! Teeheehee! That's provided Baby can pay for my ferry ride there! Heh! Can't wait

I've been missing gym now for close to 2 weeks and will be back in action next Tuesday. I fell really ill last week and have yet to fully recover till now. So these 2 weeks, I've been cooking alot! Aced my steam egg! My 2nd attempt at Chinese Pumpkin Kueh which Dad likes. Baked Banana Cake. Fried Wanton. Attempted meatballs! All so yummy! Spent a day at Jass's yesterday, cooked for them too! I'm glad they loved my steam egg!

It's Baby's birthday month! Me being broke, I think my present to him will be that he'll be king for the month? Hmmmm. LOL

Time passes too fast for me to catch up. Gah! The only thing catching up fast now is probably age. Anyway, I've been jobless.

And due to the fact I'm jobless, I've decided to minimise spending and one was to cancel my membership with Amore Spa. I'm still with their fitness side though. So, with that $100 deposit, I was told I cannot 'withdraw' it back. The only way was one more facial session/massage. I settled for the facial. I have to say, for those who don't mind splurging, Amore Spa isn't that bad! I would give it a 4.5/5 actually! The 0.5 probably because it's pretty expensive! The facial I did was 90mins long. The moment I was there, I made it clear to the 'manager' that DO NOT try and sale me your products/services, the reason I'm here is I can't afford anymore. She understood my point and I'm glad she did what was told. Anyway, I was there promptly on time. Was guided to a 'Oxygen Room' to relax and wait for my facial time. Was served tea and they washed/soaked my feet in awesome lemon grass scented water! Minutes later (you can't stay too long in a oxygen room), I was guided to my 'room'. Greeted with a warm lighted, nicely scented room, a dress to change into and a cosy bed that come with a warmer! Therapist was professional. The full package, cleanse, mask, steam, cleanse, extract, massage, mask, rest, cleanse, eyebrows, moisturise, eye serum. Honestly, for $100, to feel relaxed, cleaned, feels really good! I felt rejuvenated, and the massage was fantastic that it put me to sleep!

I mentioned, I still hold on to my Amore Fitness membership, and have been fully utilising it. Been heading to gym to burn time and build my stamina + health! I've been feeling great ever since! No more short breath-ness!

Actually, there's really alot that I'd like to mention here, and really, 10 years later, when I read back the blog entries, it'll bring me back to the past! But I'm always too lazy to update. I'm not as hyped as I used to be in blogging anymore. But I will not neglect this humble virtual abode of mine.

Recently, I've been rather down. I've been thinking alot like 'why am I here', 'whats next for me?' and all the related. I guess, when you're jobless, you tend to think alot! And I mean ALOT.

Many meltdowns between J & I. And I'm glad it happened. Else, I wouldn't have poured out what I've felt, and vice versa. I would say the 2 showdowns did bring us yet another level higher and I can't help but love him more each day! He's been very supportive. Very encouraging and patient. Very different from day 1.

September is here, and soon, it'll be our 2nd year together. It's amazing how long we can last. We have our dreams and goals set together. And I guess we're working towards it.

I've learnt something recently from a book and it touches about mindset and money blueprint. And on how you can be financially free. The root to all evil is a saying, has it been really evil to you? It brought a point to me and now I'm trying to change my mindset. I'm trying to change the invisible to see the visible next time.

I'm learning to think like a millionaire. Not to have a million networth. Money is not always dollars and cents. If you think it is, you're shallow!

Next month is October. I'm screwed. Too many birthdays in that month. Including the bf. Lol.

I'm really quite lazy to blog. But I guess once I start, I won't be able to stop! Haha

Well, where do I start. Back track to last weekend, we paid the Science Center a visit for the Da Vince Gallery too! It was awesome and enriching! Spent the evening @ Central for the RiverFestival! Baby saw something that caught his attention, there was gonna be a 'magic' show on the 27th! And he really wanted to catch that! They wanted to set a world record of 2 illusionist, 15 illusions in 5 minutes!

And than it was the usual work week which there really isn't anything much to 'sing' about! Until Friday! It was the eve of my birthday! And, when it was 5:45pm, Duc came up to me in a serious look and said, Jowie, can you follow me out of the office now? I knew something was going on! But played along! The fact that I knew there's gonna be something coming up for me, yet, not knowing what EXACTLY it was gonna be! 5 mins later, there was a phone call asking him to bring me in. Of cos, everyone wasn't in the office anymore and all at the lounge area. The moment I stepped into the lounge area, they sang the birthday song and I was lost for words. Just stood there, feeling DAMN weird. LOL! Never really like being the 'limelight'! Got my well wishes and birthday 'angpao'! Left office immediately after that to meet up with the other gang! The ex-uni. LOL! Rubes came over, Dee and Aznie couldn't make it! Dee was the designated driver for the family! That's so cute lar! I love the way she drives! Aznie had to go out with Sufy. Actually, Sufy was popping the question to her! Jeng jeng jeng! We eating & chatting and Lau Pa Sat, and than suddenly, without my knowing ANYTHING (that is what I call a surprise) Aznie appeared out of nowhere with a cake! And they sang me a birthday song! Once again, I was left speechless and I couldn't handle that situation. Going crazy!! LOL!

Left Lau Pa Sat about 10ish and headed to meet BF. As he was gonna be late, I waiting for him at home instead. My mensus came and was feeling unwell. Cramps and bad backaches totally spoilt my night, but nevertheless, I tried to enjoy as much as I could. In no time, baby came and he gave me a hug and wished me Happy Birthday! Pillow talked and lied down on his chest. I started tearing. I guess I was just PMS-sy. He coaxed me to bed and I woke up fresh the next day all anticipating for the surprise lined up for me!

Yesterday, I felt like I was treated just like a princess! He brought me to Sentosa! He's 'idea' was to walk the whole of Sentosa! How sweet! Unfortunately, my mensus was really making things difficult! Nevertheless, we walked through the Imbiah Walk and took the TigerTower (the new Carlsberg Tower). I kept asking him what's the next plan! He said we had to be somewhere at 8.30. I kept guessing and in no time, I got it right! We were heading to Central for the Magic Show! As we were DAMN early, we settled dinner @ Waraku! Took us 2 hours to complete dinner to 'kill' time! Went to Sticky to see if we could catch the 'sweet' making timing! Indeed we caught it! Baby was thinking at how a BIG chunk of sweet became a roll of sweet small enough to fit into our mouths. Lol.

Time was running out. He kept using the phone the whole time and refused to tell me who was it! I knew something was up his sleeves besides his armpit hair! HAHAHA Anyway, the illusions show I was mentioning, was a LET DOWN! A total let down! Not only did they not make it in 5 mins, they made magic look easy and not at all astonishing! So many loopholes and a big big sigh! To think we waited almost 4 hrs for it! Damn! Anyway, b4 the show started! He told me 'let's go to the toilet'! I was like, TELL WHOEVER THAT'S COMING TO WAIT! Hahahaha. He couldn't handle me and just pulled me out of the crowd! lol

Was walking.. Walking.. And suddenly, Don and Fre popped out of 'exits' and gave me a surprise!!! Thanks babes, you guys spent EVERY birthday with me since I was 17! Seng too!!! Man, I love you guys!!!!!

My silly girls came over ma place and gave me a surprise. I saw through the plan when I heard Fre behaving so weird. And, Don, being out so late @ night. Hmmmm, THANKS GIRLS ANYWAYS!

Anyway, despite all the surprises, I was still upset over a few things. My sis is in UK now and no one in the family is talking. I thought we'd go out for a simple dinner, but I thought wrongly. Dad's been showing me a face since my birthday. Cos he's angry with mum. Sigh. It really dampens my mood and makes me damn sad. He didn't even wish me happy birthday. He just sent a SUPER short text: "Happy Birthday.." THAT'S ALL! I was SOOO furious. Sigh.

I thought Jass forgot my bday too! Until I text her earlier and scolded her for forgetting my birthday! Hahaha. She said there was a parcel coming my way! lol! Wonder what it is. She's always one of my gfs (my qingaide) that never fail to make me worry! That bitch. Haha. Anyway, planning a meetup with her again b4 I fly off.

Oh, I was sad too because I didn't receive a text or call from liz. Cos I know she will NEVER forget my birthday! A couple of days back, she was still asking how I was gonna celebrate my bday. Seng gave her a call and she said she did send a text, and she called me immediately! I told her it's okay, it's definitely the connection problem! But nevertheless happy to receive the call!! Can't wait to meet her in Shanghai lar!

Above all mentioned, baby did the most job! He did something out of his 'comfort zone'! I am so proud of him and there was even a letter (via email)! I shall consider if I wanna post this here! LOL! He definitely made me tear and gave me one of the best birthdays ever! love him loads!

It is Sunday.

I just realised how neglected my blog is ever since work started. In a blink of an eye, I've been in this line for a little more than 9 months.

I've been really unhappy, and I'm proud of myself having to stay strong for so long.

Today, I feel really crappy. And I chose to keep mum.

Deep down, I'm wishing for something, but I dare not voice out. Knowing that the answer no would be hard for me to swallow.

How I wish I have a surprise now. A surprise I know would never come thru'. But always in hopes it would.

Visited the new cinema at Illuma. Filmgarde.

Everything's pretty much the same from your regular cinema minus shaw brothers. The only setback was, there was hell loads of people waiting at the lobby @ 9:40pm (the showtime) and the 'gate' wasn't open to let us in yet! Thank god bf & I weren't the ugliest people who love making scenes. We just stood there snapping randomly and eavesdropping at others' conversation!

Anyhow, Angels & Demons was a good watch. Put religion and 'I-have-not-read-the-book' issues aside, this show was a thrill from the start! Makes you excited and wants to unveil the next location on the Path of Illumination where the 4 Perferiti was held hostage by a unnamed Hassassin who works under an Illuminati Master. And also to locate the location of the antimatter canister!

The finale for the show was good, unexpected and unbiased.

You know, some people label movies+dinner as a boring date! But Baby & I always enjoyed movies+dinner! I guess our common likings are just simply watching movies!
